Faith & academic excellence
RECTEM was conceived through the vision of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, to establish world-class tertiary institutions that raise champions in science, technology, and management at Redemption City.
Our story
A steering committee prepared the blueprint for the college. Federal Government approval and an operating licence were issued on 3 September 2018. Since then, pastoral visits from the Adeboyes have encouraged students, staff, and leadership as RECTEM grows into an NBTE-accredited polytechnic.
Founding vision
Early in 2015, Pastor Adeboye articulated a plan for two world-class tertiary institutions—one of which became RECTEM—focused on practical technical and management education.
Licensed institution
RECTEM received Federal Government approval and its operating licence on 3 September 2018, enabling ND and HND programmes across accredited schools and departments.
Champions in technology
The college exists to produce skilled, globally competitive graduates—technologists and professionals worthy in skill and character—for Nigeria's industries and enterprises.
RECTEM was established to raise champions in the technology and management fields—graduates who can compete globally and serve Nigeria's development needs.
Distinguished visitors
Pastor E.A. Adeboye and Pastor (Mrs) Foluke Adeboye have visited RECTEM to bless, encourage, and align the college with the founding vision for world-class technical education in Nigeria.
